I still remember the time when muscle simulation was a new thing. It first appeared on a grand scale in Jurassic Park. These days it’s pretty common to run all kinds of muscle– and skin simulations on all kinds of characters just to get this extra bit of realism. And yet it’s such a specialists domain we don’t really get to see it discussed in much detail. This video by Adom Yip sheds a little light on all the considerations when working with digital muscles.
